I am captivated by glass. In the high heat of the kiln, colors shift and flow, hard surfaces soften and become molten; bubbles burst or become trapped beneath the surface. I am guided by the elements of fire, water, earth, air, and culture.

My journey in this medium has traversed the sculptural and textural, organic and intricate, fluid and solid. It challenges me to explore the ancient, the tribal, and the abstract. And with each new technique, high temperature flows, casting, and screenprinting or powderprinting, I scratch the surface and dive even deeper, crafting my own voice and vision.

Now based in Bellingham, WA, I have been fusing glass since 2008 in Washington, DC and Maryland, creating artwork for the home, gallery, and personal adornment.
