I am a mother, an animal lover, a bird watcher, a cloud reveler, a sculptor, a painter, and a potter. Art and nature have always been part of who I am. I grew up in Colorado, by the Green Mountain Nature Preserve. I spent endless hours walking the trails, watching the birds, and trying to befriend the foxes. This deep connection with nature instilled in me the importance of conservation. I later volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center, caring for injured and orphaned animals.

I moved to Washington in 1994 and raised my children on Lummi Island, where we spent our days exploring the tide pools and the woods. The flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest became my muse.

I don’t have a formal art education, but have been an artist my entire life. Creating is as essential to my soul as eating or drinking. I hope my art brings the same sense of connection to nature that I feel to those viewing it.
