Peggy Cook
I am in my happy zone when I’m painting. I love color and whimsy. I use acrylic paint, plaster and recycled materials to create feel good one of a kind pieces.
You can find my work at the Marietta Museum of Art and Whimsy in Sarasota, FL and at local art shows, festivals and galleries in the Pacific Northwest.
“Others have seen what is and asked ‘Why’?…I have seen what could be and asked ‘Why not?'”

Peggy Cook grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a child, she always had a passion for painting and crafts. Through the encouragement of her family, she started art classes at the age of twelve at a local art museum. Although painting and drawing classes were beneficial, Peggy considers herself to be a self-taught artist. She has developed her own whimsy style.
Peggy moved to California in 1980 with her husband Bruce. They lived in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains for ten years. After traveling through the Pacific Northwest, they fell in love with the area where they now reside – Blaine, Washington
