Suzanne Perlmutter

 

Suzanne Perlmutter has been an artist, naturalist and Landscape Architect, living in the Skagit Valley, Washington. She was born in Rye, New York, and lived north of Manhattan, which is a place that gave her a passion for storytelling, and the visual arts.

Suzanne’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington and her extensive experience in documenting cultural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest has allowed her to enter into the deep understanding of man’s relationship to self and earth.

Suzanne’s children’s stories have appeared in both ebooks and hardcopy through Kindle Direct Publishing, Amazon. Along with her stories, featured in Tres Amigos Productions, Suzanne has documented the abundant wildlife and diverse habitats in and around the Costa del Luz, of Spain along the Mediterranean.

Her experience of the last 4 years living in Southern Spain contributes to Suzanne’s ability to offer engaging, meaningful and enjoyable adventures in storytelling, from a multicultural and multi-lingual view for children.

Suzanne is a renowned glass painter who has been trained in the traditional German techniques of glass painting. Her mentor, Ann Nye, has been a great inspiration in the exploration of the art of glass paintings. Her works have been featured in many exhibitions.
